It Has Been Months Since.....

I have last saw the Tiger-tailed Seahorses at Pulau Hantu. Therefore, was quite happy to see them again during the monthly dive trip with The Hantu Bloggers last Saturday!

We also see its relative! The Winged Pipefish!

It looks like part of the seaweeds!

A closer look at the Winged Pipefish!

Other fishes seen were a camera-shy Filefish and.....

a rather not camera-shy Carpet Eel Blenny! :p

Was delighted to see Tipped Bubble coral (Physogyra sp.) that was about a meter wide!

Varieties of Flatworms were sighted!

A tiny Cuttlefish trying to look like a piece of debris.....

while a bigger one tried to "play" the "now you see me, now you don't" game by hiding behind the brown seaweed! :p

Tiny Tiny orange snails!

Top: Pimply Phyllid nudibranch (Phyllidiella pustulosa) and Bottom: Varicose Phyllid nudibranch (Phyllidia varicosa)

A Blue dragon nudibranch (Pteraeolidia ianthina)

Another Aeolid, it's a tiny Red-lined Flabellina nudibranch (Flabellina rubrolineata)

A Dermatobranchus nudibranch (Dermatobranchus sp.)

A small Polka-dot nudibranch (Jorunna funebris) clung to the substrate in the strong currents!

Came across two Slender Ceratosoma nudibranch (Ceratosoma gracillimum)!

On a discarded beam pipe, we saw two Bullock nudibranch (Hypselodoris bullocki)!

There were two nudibranch egg ribbons nearby too! Maybe they have just finished laying the eggs!

Looking forward to The Hantu Bloggers' 8th Anniversary dive next month! Hopefully, the visibility can get better soon!
